Every year Great Place to Work Ireland organises an awards ceremony that honours and celebrates the best workplaces in Ireland. This year the client wanted to have one cohesive identity for the whole event, including pre-event branding, so I was tasked with creating an event theme based on the tagline ‘For All’. It also needed to incorporate their brand colours, which were a mix of red, white, grey and black.

I developed a mosaic-inspired design symbolising the diverse personalities within a workplace, using a mix of shapes, client-provided photography, and brand colours. For the pre-event graphics I designed the magazine cover which was published in the Irish Times, as well as email and web banners for the client. I also created some pre-visualisation images and videos for the client so they could see how the room would look for the event.

For the ceremony itself, I created content for multiple screen formats: a 10x3.5m centre LED screen, two LED cubes, and four projection screens. Within the design, I changed the squares to be 3D cubes to give the screens a sense of depth. The show consisted of a two and half minute opening sequence that kicked off the event, holding loops, title slides, winner animations, performer backgrounds and five countdowns for the main awards segment.
